SpongeBob SquarePants is a popular, funny animated show that takes place at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in a town called Bikini Bottom and it's surrounding areas. It is shown on Nickelodeon, YTV and Nicktoons Network. It was created by Stephen Hillenburg who is a cartoon animator and a marine biologist.
Despite a very long hiatus and rumours of SpongeBob's sexuality, the show remains a popular hit with children and adults and maintains very high ratings!
